What are the Initial Requirements of becoming a Member?

-Anyone! Male or Female, 21 years of age or older can Join the PCGT
|
|
Why is PCGT Membership required to sign up for a Tournament?
|
|
|
-Fairness! The PCGT is dedicated to providing fair competition for all players during the tournaments.
|
|
|
-Each player who becomes a member must agree to the terms and conditions within the
Honors Contract to assure fairness and prevent any kind of "Sandbagging" or cheating. |
|
|
-See the Member Handbook for the PCGT anti-sandbagging system which includes handicap reviews, monitoring, Rules and Fairness Committee and potential polygraph testing.

|
|
-PCGT staff reviews and verifies all players handicap information and establishes a tournament handicap for each player |

What if I don't have an established Handicap?
|
|
|
-No Problem! The PCGT Staff will work with you to obtain an official Handicap Index.
|
|
|
-Join the Tour now and we will get you started establishing your handicap right away!
|
|
What if my Handicap is over 18.0?
|
|
|
-No Problem! If your handicap is over 18.0, you can still Join the Tour! However, the maximum allowed handicap for our tournaments will be 18.0. If your handicap is over 18.0, you will play each tournament as an 18.0 handicap.

Will the Tournaments be divided into Flights?
|
|
|
-Yes! The players will be broken up into 3 Flights:
|
|
|
Eagle Flight: 6.9 or Less handicap |
|
|
Birdie Flight: 7.0 to 12.9 handicap |
|
|
Par Flight: 13.0 to 18.0 handicap |
|
|

How will the Purse Winnings be paid out?
|

|
-Fairly! Total Purse will be determined by the amount of Players entered at each Tournament.
